Not even a Monday can bring me down...

Getting ready to head out for our 10 week 6 day scan! Not only do I get to see that little bundle, I am getting closer and closer to that 2nd trimester mark, only 14 days now! The excitement is killing me :)
We have been listening to the heartbeat each day, I was having trouble finding it for the longest. Well- after my last doctor appointment, my midwife said "let me just take a listen, but you have to promise not to freak out if.." of course I agreed and after awhile she found it! Well baby was much higher than I expected so I would have never found him/her. Anyway since then I have found it regularly and what a God send that doppler has been! Well I am off I will post pics as soon as I return :)

Well here is a comparsion in size growth, so amazing, I cannot believe it! Just the best sight to see :)

Prayers for a Healthy Pregnancy

Prayer to Our Lady of La Leche during Pregnancy
O Lord Jesus Christ, through the intercession of Your tender Mother, Our Lady of La Leche, who bore You close to her heart during those long months before Your birth, I place my baby and myself entirely in Your Hands. Free me, I beseech You, from useless and consuming worry. Accept the sacrifice of my aches and pains, which I unite to Your sufferings on the Cross. Humble Virgin and Doctor of the Church, in thirty-three years you achieved great perfection and became the counselor of Popes. You know the temptations of mothers today as well as the dangers that await unborn infants. Intercede for me that I may avoid miscarriage and bring forth a healthy baby who will become a true child of God. Also pray for all mothers, that they may not resort to abortion but help bring a new life into the world. Amen.

This life you have given us
is so tiny, fragile, and vulnerable,
safe in the womb of flesh and hope,
yet subject to danger and death.
O God of love, creator of life,
hear our prayer.
We want this baby so much.
Please grant this child of ours
a full term of nurture,
the joy and mystery of life,
and the blessing of your love.
Grant us the fulfillment of our dreams,
a baby to cherish and protect,
a child to teach and guide,
a blessing to our family.
