8.11.2011

Well I am currently 8 dpo (days past ovulation) the leterozole dosage increase that the doctor prescribed for this cycle did exactly what they had hoped it would do and I had two mature follicles at my ultrasound and released two eggs, which in turn help to increase my progesterone naturally and without supplements. So I had that lab drawn on 8.08.2011 and it came back at 20.2. While this is great news, I am not feeling confident that my husband and I have caught the egg this cycle. Not having any symptoms to speak of and my BBT (basal body temp) is not all that high. I suppose I will not know for certain until another week, so there you go. If not this cycle hopefully next, it seems that I have some things going for me now with the great doctors at SRM!

O Lord Jesus Christ, through the intercession of Your tender Mother, Our Lady of La Leche, who bore You close to her heart during those long months before Your birth, I place my baby and myself entirely in Your Hands. Free me, I beseech You, from useless and consuming worry. Accept the sacrifice of my aches and pains, which I unite to Your sufferings on the Cross. Above all, most merciful and loving Jesus, protect this child You have given to me from all harm, bestowing the health and vigor every baby needs. Implant in my heart and on my lips the words and prayers of Your Mother and mine, our Lovely Lady of La Leche. All this I ask that my child and I may live to praise forever Your Holy Name. Amen.

Prayer to St. Catherine of Siena to Avoid a Miscarriage
Humble Virgin and Doctor of the Church, in thirty-three years you achieved great perfection and became the counselor of Popes. You know the temptations of mothers today as well as the dangers that await unborn infants. Intercede for me that I may avoid miscarriage and bring forth a healthy baby who will become a true child of God. Also pray for all mothers, that they may not resort to abortion but help bring a new life into the world. Amen.

This life you have given us
is so tiny, fragile, and vulnerable,
safe in the womb of flesh and hope,
yet subject to danger and death.
O God of love, creator of life,
hear our prayer.
We want this baby so much.
Please grant this child of ours
a full term of nurture,
the joy and mystery of life,
and the blessing of your love.
Grant us the fulfillment of our dreams,
a baby to cherish and protect,
a child to teach and guide,
a blessing to our family.
